Nicole Schmitz started as the 4-year-old preschool teacher in August 2015, and also served as the center director through June 2022. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014 with a BA in early childhood along with a family studies minor and special education endorsement. Nicole enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and cooking. She lives in Independence, Iowa, with her husband and is a member of the Immaculate Conception parish in Gilbertville where she helps teach Sunday school.
