When you visit Immanuel, here is what you can expect:
Currently we have one Sunday morning worship service, with Sunday School for the kids afterward, and a time of Fellowship as well.
9:00 am Sunday morning worship:
- A traditional setting accompanied by organ and piano OR a contemporary setting accompanied by guitars and drums
- A worship folder and PowerPoint will guide you through the liturgy and hymns or songs
- Hymnals are also available in the pews
10:15 am Sunday School:
- Opening is held in the sanctuary with a time of songs
- Children (PK through 6th grade) learn Bible stories in Sunday School
10:15 am Fellowship:
- Coffee and donuts or some other goodie are offered in the Fellowship Hall
- Folks at the Welcome Center would love to share their story with you and listen to your story
During the summer, from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, we do not offer Sunday School or Fellowship to allow our volunteers a break as well.
Holy Communion
Here at Immanuel, we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion at every service, every week. We believe Jesus welcomes everyone who believes that Jesus died for their sins and is truly repentant to the table. Gluten free wafers are available – just ask an usher as you enter. Children who have not yet received First Communion are asked to keep their hands folded and they will receive a blessing. Blessings aren’t just for children, anyone who desires a blessing, regardless of participation in Holy Communion, can come up for a blessing. We’re always looking for opportunities to share God’s love.
